What Can be Engraved on a Plaque?

The sentiment is yours, we will engrave any message of your choice onto your Baby KeepStake. The maximum number of characters that can be legibly engraved on the face of the tree plaque is 250 characters which includes spaces as well as letters and numbers. Whatever message you choose, we will space it so it looks as good as possible highlighting key information such as names and dates where relevant.

You can choose from two plaque shapes, a curved or a rectangular shape. If you would like a lot of text on your plaque, we recommend that you pick the rectangular shape as the engraving area is slightly bigger.

We have a selection of clipart images that can be added to the top of the plaque to finish off your unusual baby gift. Simply select the icon of your choice on the online order form if you would like to include a picture.

To ensure the stake looks fabulous when it arrives, we use a special blackening fluid to treat the engraved letters to highlight your message. This black colour is likely to fade to gray after a couple of days outdoors, but the engraving is permanent and will last indefinitely. A quick polish with some beeswax furniture polish every few months will keep your Baby KeepStake looking great.
